The Mission of the Minnesota Facilitators Network (MFN) is a professional network that educates, engages, and empowers members to facilitate effective group participation and planning processes with clear outcomes. MFN works to increase the visibility, value, and impact of facilitation by promoting large and small group participatory methods. We support members through training, mentoring, skill and resource sharing.

Why do you want to present to the Minnesota Facilitators Network?

Working Title/Topic of Your Presentation:

Short biography listing your career background, credentials, education, work experience, philosophy around facilitation.  (500 words or less, please)

Description of your workshop: In a brief paragraph, please explain how you will utilize 1 hour and 45 minutes of the workshop time presenting to our membership that is interactive and facilitates an educational and experiential learning relevant to facilitators. This does not need to be set in exact modules but should show that you have content and a presentation that keeps the audience interested, engaged and promotes conversation and learning.  We are foremost a professional community of practice; therefore we want our members to walk away with new information and exciting tools to use in their work. Presentations that are primarily sales targeted are not the purpose for our events; however, if your presentation entails all the learning criteria required, we do allow you to promote your material and/or sell items after the event.

Speakers Honorarium

The Minnesota Facilitators Network offers either a free one year membership or a small honorarium of $50 for your presentation.

Requests are reviewed by our programming committee and we will contact you for further information as necessary before making any decisions.  The Minnesota Facilitators Network meets in person 6 times a year . Unfortunately, due to constraints related to scheduling, annual themes, and relevance to our membership, we regret that we are not able to accept all presentation requests that are submitted to us.
