Blue Ocean Strategy:
Create Leaps in Value While Reducing the
Risk of Change
(For facilitators
working internally in an organization as
well as independent facilitators.)
As facilitators,
one way we create value is by helping
organizations find new possibilities and
make better choices. So why is change so
hard to come by? In the face of something
better, how is it that our clients
sometimes get bogged down and either fail
to succeed or choose to do nothing?
This session will
focus on Blue Ocean
Strategy - how to
create leaps in value for customers,
while reducing costs. In particular, we
will use case study to focus on the risks
of change and how the Blue
Ocean Strategy
process helps organizations manage risk. Blue
Ocean Strategy,
written by INSEAD professors Renee
Mauborgne and Chan Kim, is the top
selling business book ever published by
Harvard Business School Press. It has
sold well over 1 million copies and has
been translated into 41 languages.
